There are many funding options available through different programs. We are experts in being able to navigate the system, identify the appropriate coverage available, facilitate gathering the necessary information & services required, and submitting the request on your behalf. Below is the list of programs available to you. Please call us for any specific programs not listed below.
We are an authorized vendor for ADP Mobility Devices.
What's Covered:
ADP covers 75% of the cost for equipment and supplies. For these items, they are billed directly by the supplier and you pay 25% when you buy the item.
In some cases, you receive a series of payments throughout the year to help cover the cost of supplies.

The Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) is an Ontario government program is designed to help families who have a disability needs and require financial aide due to poor income or lack of.
Coverage:
- Balance not covered by ADP
- Repair to products purchased through ADP

HASI (Home Adaptations for Seniors Independence)
- This program helps homeowners, tenants or landlords pay for adaptations to extend the duration of time that low-income seniors can remain in their homes independently.
- Up to $3500.00 (forgivable loan)
- Program designed for seniors 65 and older
- Household income less than $35,000 per year
- As a result of diminishing ability brought on by aging (poor mobility to access their home)
RRAP-D (Residential Rehabilitation Assistance Program for persons w/ Disabilities)
This program offers financial assistance to low-income homeowners to repair their homes where the dwelling is substandard and requires repair for safer and healthier living.
- Total household income under $35,000 per year
- Home is valued under aprox. $280,000

- Home modifications
- Installed equipment i.e. Stairlifts, Porch lifts, Ramps,
- Washroom modifications

The Ontario March of Dimes Assistive Program helps adults with physical disabilities by providing partial funding for the purchase and maintenance of equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, braces, and communication devices. Selection of mobility equipment available for short/long term rental, suitable for client with changing needs.
Ontario residents are accessible to the Home & Vehicle Modification Program. This program is intended to eliminate life-safety risks, prevent hospitalization, or avoid loss of income.
Items Covered:
- Final 25% balance of ADP approved mobility equipment and seating (80-100% of balance of cost)
- Home modifications i.e. lifts, door widening, porch lifts, stair lifts etc. (full cost of lowest quote for modifications up to $15,000)
Who’s Eligible:
- Adults 19 yrs of age or older with a disability expected to last 1 yr. or more
- Valid OHIP card
- Meet minimal yearly income
How to Get Funding:
- The therapist that completes the ADP application must fill out an “Ontario March of Dimes Assistive Devices Application” & submit a copy a copy of the Ministry of Health ADP approval.
- Home Modification: an Occupational Therapist must complete a home assessment and provide a application to the “Ontario March of Dimes Home & Vehicle Modification” program

The Department of Veteran Affairs provides client-centered services and benefits that respond to the needs of veterans and their families, in recognition to their services to Canada. Health benefits for Veterans include aides for daily living, medical supplies, prosthetics and orthotics, special equipment, etc.

- Wheelchairs, scooters, stair lifts, etc. & most medical supplies

The Alzheimer Society of Ontario’s mission is to alleviate the personal and social consequences of Alzheimer Diseases and related disorders and to promote research.
The role of the Alzheimer Society of Toronto is to offer support, information and education for persons with dementia, their families and caregivers, to increase public awareness, and to advocate for services that respect the dignity of the individual.

The ALS Equipment Program: This includes mobility devices, bathroom aides, medical equipment, and communication devices. This includes such products as;
- Walkers, wheelchairs (manual or powered)
- Commode chairs, transfer boards, bath lifts,
- Lift chairs, hospital beds

Red Cross Homemakers in Ontario provide personal care and assistance to clients who may be frail, elderly, disabled or in need of short-term assistance during recuperation from an illness or operation. Home support, such as meals and general assistance for seniors, medical equipment rentals and transportation is offered. Red Cross medical equipment loans are available through most of Canada
What’s Covered:
- Rental of wheelchairs, walkers, and bathroom safety items for up to 3-month term
Who’s Eligible:
- Anyone who is currently recuperating and living at home.

WSIB administers Ontario’s no-fault insurance for employers and workers. WSIB provides disability benefits, monitors the quality of healthcare, and assists in early, safe return to work for workers injured on the job or who have contracted an occupational disease.
What’s Covered:
The costs related to workplace injuries and illness including healthcare, medications, medical devices, orthotics, and transportation costs associated with the workplace injury or illness. WSIB approves 100% of expenses.
Who’s Eligible and How to Get Funding:
- Must be covered by WSIB
- Must have had injury or illness as a result of the workplace
- Must file claim with WSIB
- Must get prescription of medical device from physician
- Must submit quotation of prescribed device along with your claim number
- Only after verbal or written approval for equipment is provided by WSIB to the vendor is the equipment supplied to client

Volunteers and staff in Client Services conduct the work of the Society that relates to the latter half of its mission “Enabling people affected by MS to enhance their quality of life”.
What’s Covered:
Information and referral, education, support, advocacy and funding. The most common direct support service provided by most divisions and chapters is a pool of equipment available for loan at no cost.

The following Medical Supplies and Equipment (MS&E) list contains mobility items and services provided as eligible benefits by the Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) program for eligible First Nations and Inuit, along with information on coverage policies, item codes, requirements for prior approval and applicable recommended replacement guidelines.
